General questions
What is AAEP Anywhere?
AAEP Anywhere is the American Association of Equine Practitioner's (AAEP) online learning platform. Educational materials, many of which can convey Continuing Education (CE) credits, are available here to AAEP members.
What CE opportunities do you offer?
AAEP Anywhere houses the online, digital version of the AAEP Annual Convention, as well as other stand-alone educational series. In addition, you can find on-demand recordings of the AAEP Virtual Wednesday Round Tables (no RACE-accredited CE for the Wednesday Round Tables).
Must I be an AAEP member to access the CE opportunities?
Free CE is available only to AAEP members. However, non-members may purchase selected CE offerings at a non-member rate. To join AAEP, please point your browser to https://aaep.org and follow the "join" links.
What is my username and password?
Use the same username (email address) and password that you use to login to the main aaep.org website.
- If you have forgotten your username or password, or are an AAEP member and have never logged in before, click the “Login” button on the main AAEP Anywhere page until directed to the AAEP main website login screen. Use the “Forgot username” then “forgot password” links and follow the on-screen instructions.
Registration
How do I sign up for a CE package?
The free-to-members educational products require free registration to add them to your account. Choose the program you wish to register for and click the green “Register (Free)” button. You will be directed to login if you are not already. (For assistance with logins, see “What is my username/password?” in the FAQs above.)
If there is no cost for a program, you will be instantly registered and can access the program components at any time via “My Dashboard” in the sidebar.
Currently, CE events that require purchase are registered outside the AAEP Anywhere platform. Once payment is received, registrant information is downloaded to the system and you should be able to access all content.
Can I earn CE credits for free?
Yes, AAEP members have access to between 10-15 credit hours of RACE-approved CE each year. The sessions are taken from the current AAEP Convention, change yearly, and are a combination of both medical and non-medical CE.
Can I share access to content with others?
There is not a way to share links to CE events or products with others. If others are able to watch the programming with you, they may do so but will not be eligible to request continuing education (CE) credit. Similarly, those who register for on-demand-only programs have the ability to download the video components, but those with whom that content is shared are not eligible to request CE credit.
How do I find my pre-2024 CE credits?
We are working hard to collect members' CE certificates from earlier learning platforms and adding them to your AAEP member dashboard.
For pre-2024 CE certificates, we are working hard to collect members' CE certificates from earlier learning platforms and add them to your AAEP member dashboard. You may continue to find your Digitell content and certificates by logging in to your account at https://aaep.digitellinc.com/. Log in using your aaep.org credentials, then go to "My Account" and "CE Certificates."
If you have CE Certificates earned from the earlier iteration of AAEP Anywhere, please contact learn@aaep.org and request your certificates.
CE Credit, Certificates and Transcripts
How do I earn CE credit?
For presentations and sessions that carry RACE-approved CE credit, you must watch the on-demand video, refer to additional resources and proceedings papers (optional), and pass the attached quiz. Upon passing, a CE certificate will be automatically generated. You may print and/or download your certificate, and it will be available at any time in your dashboard.
How long do I have access to CE credits and content?
Per RACE requirements, on-demand educational sessions on AAEP Anywhere are credit-bearing for one year. After that, you'll continue to have access to the content, but will no longer be able to earn CE from it.
A new set of free-CE sessions are uploaded each year.
How do I find my CE certificates?
Upon passing the quiz attached to a presentation, a CE certificate will be automatically generated. You may print and/or download your certificate, and it will be available at any time from the "CE Certificates" link in the menu sidebar.
How do I print my CE certificates?
Open a CE certificate from the course you just completed, or from your dashboard.
At the top of the page, you'll see a link to "Print This Page." This will open your printer menu.
If the certificate is missing the AAEP logo and title, look in your printer menu for option for "Background Graphics." Select/enable the option.
Deselect "Headers and Footers" if necessary.
How do I download my CE certificates?
Pro-tip: From the certifcate, select "Print this Page." When your printer menu opens, select "Save as PDF" (or similar language, depending on your printer menu) and select "print." You'll be prompted to select a location in which to save your certificate.
How can I consolidate all my CE certificates into one document?
You want a transcript!
From any page, go to "CE Certificates" from the left-hand menu (pull-down menu on mobile devices) and at the top of the page, select the "Transcript / Achievements" button.
From the Transcript / Achievements page, you can filter your search, print individual certificates from a course listing's "View/Print Certificate," or print a transcript of all filtered CE credits by selecting the "Download as PDF" button.
Refer to the FAQ regarding printing and downloading CE certificates for more tips on managing your files.

Virtual Convention Walk-Through
How do I register for the 2023 AAEP Virtual Convention?
Pro tip: Open a second tab or window on your browser to follow along with the walk-through steps.
Registration for the 2023 AAEP Virtual Convention is done through the main AAEP website at https://aaep.org/. To go directly to the convention registration page, point your browser to https://convention.aaep.org/ and select the "registration" button at the top of the page.
Once you've registered, your information must be uploaded to the virtual convention platform. Unfortunately, this is not currently an automated system, but registration information will be uploaded daily. If you have registered, but aren't able to access the Virtual Convention within one business day, please contact learn@aaep.org for more assistance.
How do I find the Virtual Convention content on AAEP Anywhere?
From the main AAEP Anywhere page, first be sure to log in using your regular AAEP login credentials. Depending on the speed of your connection, you may notice that you are redirected through a Higher Logic page. This is part of the secure sign-on process that keeps your account safe. Be patient and your page will load.
Once you're logged in, you can find the section for the Annual Convention on Demand displayed prominently on the main page. Click anywhere on the graphic.
How do I sign up for Virtual Table Topics?
The Virtual Table Topics are an important part of the Virtual Convention. It's a chance for registrants to have live interaction with panelist experts and earn "live" RACE-accredited CE. The Virtual Table Topics are run as Zoom webinars, and require registration through Zoom. The 2023 Virtual Table Topics happen Dec. 11-15. Following the live webinars, on-demand recordings will be made available.
From the main Virtual Convention page, select the Virtual Table Topics link.
Pro tip: You might be confused by the "You are registered!" notification you see at the top of each Virtual Convention page. This indicates that you've registered for the Convention, but does NOT indicate that you've registered for an individual Table Topic. Follow the instructions below to register for the Table Topics.
From the "Links to Virtual Table Topics registration" component on the page, "Links to Virtual Table Topics Registration" and then select "Click here to register."
From the following page, select the Table Topic(s) you wish to attend live, and click on their individual registration links. Fill out the registration form and click "Register." You'll receive a registration confirmation email from Zoom that contains the link to follow when the Virtual Table Topic is about to begin.
CE credit: Following your attendance during a Virtual Table Topic, your information will be uploaded to the platform and you'll find your CE credit in your dashboard.
How do I watch on-demand presentations?
On the Virtual Convention main page, you'll see a list of sessions. Each session is made up of several individual scientific presentations. As the presentations occur in real-time, and the videos are edited and uploaded, the link to that session will be enabled.
Click on a session to find a link of all presentations within that session.
Click on each component to view it. The quiz will unlock after you've viewed the video, and the CE certificate will automatically generate once you've passed the quiz. See the "CE Credit, Certificates and Transcripts" FAQs to learn more about your CE credits.
