AAEP ImagingXP New Jersey
Optimize your imaging techniques and interpretive skills to help deliver accurate diagnoses of conditions in the foot and metatarsal/tarsal regions at the AAEP’s ImagingXP, the second topic in the wet labs-focused learning series AAEP Experiential—or XP.
ImagingXP is limited to only 20 participants and features a participant-to-instructor ratio of just 4:1 to energize learning and ensure plenty of individual engagement with the expert panel of instructors. Imaging XP will be held September 19–20 in Ringoes, N.J., at the Element by Westin Ewing/Princeton (morning lectures) and Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center (afternoon wet labs).
Building off a strengthened understanding of anatomy through limb dissections, you’ll acquire the knowledge to efficiently and effectively diagnose conditions such as deep digital flexor tendon injury, hindlimb proximal suspensory desmopathy, enthesopathy, and subtle radiographic lesions indicative of navicular degeneration or occult distal tarsal injury. You’ll also be introduced to emerging imaging techniques such as ultrasound anisotropic imaging and specialized radiographic projections.
